Superintendent Training for Ironworkers: Ironworker superintendents are responsible for implementing an efficient site production process and maximizing profit while minimizing company liability. Ironworker superintendents serve as the contractor’s representative on the jobsite and establish positive relationships with the end user, contractors, and other trades while ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
This 5-day course is designed to develop skilled ironworker superintendents. This course is appropriate for any member interested in improving their field supervision and management skills. During this course, participants will learn:
- to access and manipulate documents in Bluebeam Revu and Procore
- the roles and responsibilities of the superintendent
- effective communication skills
- how to manage project schedules, information, people, the job site, and safety
- how to close out a project
- basic construction finance and law

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS: Participants are required to bring a computer and must know how to use the computer. Participants will be required to access the internet using their computer and will learn how to access cloud-based documents housed in Bluebeam Studio and Procore.
