About Us:

As a Veteran Owned Business, we pride ourselves on providing the best possible product by our unmatched precision and dedication to our craft.  Our exceptional customer service and professionalism comes standard with every project.  Our President, Jason D. France, is a former military member and Veteran - from serving during Operation Iraqui Freedom.  He is a 2007 graduate from Kent State University and fromer Men's Basketball Team member.  Upon graduation from college, he applied for the Ironworkers Apprenticeship in 2008.  During his Ironworking Career, he has done everything from being a connector to installing Glass Rail on the Highmark Executive Floor Renovation project in 2019.  While at Over & Under, Jason has worked his way up from running work as a Foreman to being a Project Superintendent/Estimator and lastly being President of the company. 

Our Vice President, Tom Sherred Jr., is a 2013 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.  Tom has been an ironworker in Local 3 for over 4 years performing both field work as well as project management/estimating duties.  Previously, Tom worked for Michael Baker International in a database coordinator role.  Tom currently holds a contractor's license for the state of West Virginia. 

Our motto is OVER expectations and UNDER budget, and this attitude is passed on to all employees.  We employ our highly skilled work force out of the Ironworkers Local Union No. 3 (Pittsburgh, PA), 207 (Youngstown, OH) and 549 (Wheeling, WV).

Over & Under Steel and Rigging's top priority is safety on all projects and often goes beyond the requirements of our general contractors and OSHA.  We do not consider any project a success unless every employee goes home safely every day.
