This years special guest and speaker was Mr. Donald T. Cunningham Jr., Secretary of General Services for the State of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cunningham provided a detailed explanation of a new delivery system that DGS is pursuing titled Best Value Contracting. The Association Membership was particularly interested in this method of bidding since they believe it will have a positive impact on the way they approach and bid DGS projects. Attendees at this years event were were association members as well Officers from Iron Worker Local 3, Pittsburgh, PA and Local 772 Clearfield, PA Iron Worker International Representatives and Pittsburgh Building Trades Officials.
